Midsummer evening in Twisk Nederland.We are the couple on the right. We wear the traditionla costume of the regio Westfriesland.We join a group who wearsthis costumes on special days etc. After about 1910 nobody wore such clothes with lace caps and jewelleries. Twisk is a village in North Holland and has most beautifull farmhouses. The village is a protected monument.
