These are unusual looking to me. What are they?

These look very similar to the Australian native bottle-brush, they must be a relative?

Margreet, in Australia we call them Pussywillow trees and they are so soft like kitten fur.

For a little trivia..
Latin Name:
Salix Caprea 'Pendula'

Name:
Kilmarnock Willow or Pussy Willow

Description:
Small umbrella like tree with silvery catkins

Price from: €70 (in Ireland)

Whooee. In Australia we take cuttings, stick them into damp ground and grow a tree.
The willow (salix) I believe is the source of asprin.
