Margreet, your carving is just beautiful. Is this a hobby or do you sell them? Thanks so much for sharing.
OMGG these carved items are just BEAUTIFUL!!! You do such AWESOME work! So talented my dear.
Oh MY! Your carving is amazingly precise, and beyond beautiful. I read in your bio that you like woodcarving, and I've been looking through your blog, eager to see what sort you do ( I carve realistic figures/dolls). It never occurred to me that you'd most likely do Frisian chip carving, so I feel a bit silly about that. My family came from the island of Schiermonikoog so I know this type of carving (I own two pieces I found in antique shops in the US). I have never ever seen such fine chip carving as you do though. Very impressive!Laurel
Margreet!! I was taking some time today to visit the participants of the Crazy Quilt Show and I am SOOOO glad I found this post on your blog!!My husband is a woodturner and he and I both are very impressed by your carvings!I do hope you sell your work because we would love to have a piece of your art!!
Dear Margreet: Is here anything you can't do? You have got to be the most talented person I have ever seen in my 69 years of life! You are an inspiration to me. Bless you, Sondra
