Oh MY! Your carving is amazingly precise, and beyond beautiful.

I read in your bio that you like woodcarving, and I've been looking through your blog, eager to see what sort you do ( I carve realistic figures/dolls). It never occurred to me that you'd most likely do Frisian chip carving, so I feel a bit silly about that. My family came from the island of Schiermonikoog so I know this type of carving (I own two pieces I found in antique shops in the US). I have never ever seen such fine chip carving as you do though. Very impressive!

Margreet!! I was taking some time today to visit the participants of the Crazy Quilt Show and I am SOOOO glad I found this post on your blog!!

My husband is a woodturner and he and I both are very impressed by your carvings!
